VOLUNTEER TO HANDWRITE NOTES
We're in need of handwritten notes in Chinese or Korean to attach to our care packages! This is the perfect time to be playful and lean in on your creative strengths. The goal is to let our elderly recipients feel the joy from your decorations and brighten their day with our deliveries. Please mail handwritten notes to the mailing address below or drop off if you're local. If possible, mailing them or dropping off on an ongoing monthly basis would be incredibly helpful for us to keep up with our deliveries.

INSTRUCTIONS & GUIDELINES:
Volunteers supply their own materials and supplies to create the handwritten notes.
Write legibly, clearly, and large with black ink so it’s easier for our elderly recipients to read.
Add variation to your positive and uplifting notes because a majority of your letters will be going to the same elderly recipients that we’ve provided meals for since April.
Write in batches of 50 notes (50 notes, 100 notes, 150 notes, 200 notes, 250 notes, etc.) Please use rubberbands or sheets of paper to batch every 50 notes.
We suggest the dimensions of the note papers stay within/around 7" x 5".
Not sure what to write? Write, “We are thinking of you and we love you!”
Don't read/write Chinese or Korean? Neither do we! We use Google Translate and encourage you to do the same.
For guidance, please look at the “letters” Instagram story highlight bubble on our main page. We've archived excellent examples of handwritten notes that you can find inspiration from.
Record a vertical timelapse of the creation process of your handwritten notes so we can share it with our community! Please keep the timelapse videos within 15 seconds for us to post on our Instagram Stories, and DM it to us.
